DANIELLE FRUCCI

UX Director /
Strategy & Design

The focus cannot just be about selling a product, or entertaining an audience, or getting the most likes. The goal should be to design something useful, educational, inspirational, and a little magical. To be a part of creating something that impacts our everyday, or could transform our future. That’s my focus. And I want to do it with a fantastic team that is passionate about both the process and the work.

In 2 years, as part of the growing design team, I worked closely with a large team of developers to shift their projects from being built with the programmer as the user, to user-focused interfaces that better met the needs of visitors and the target audience.

Developed wireframes, documented functional requirements, designed the visual interfaces, and built HTML prototypes for expansive, data-driven websites, intranets, extranets, as well as designed the interfaces for the content management systems to maintain them.

Designed a comprehensive solution for the World Resources Institute to move their ever-growing library of data into a web-based, search-optimized tool with a simple, step-through interface for visitors to quickly find maps and statistics to view or export for their research.
